How to identify it
The blue tab and notably larger diameter (11.6 mm vs 7.9 mm for sizes 312 and 13) makes the 675 easy to identify by sight. It is visibly the largest of the four standard hearing aid sizes.
Activation
Peel the blue tab and wait at least 60 seconds — preferably 2 minutes — before inserting. The larger electrode volume benefits more from the full rest period than smaller sizes do.
Common mistakes
- Using a Size 13 instead — same height but smaller diameter (7.9 mm vs 11.6 mm). Will not seat properly and may rattle in the compartment.
- Storing multiple batteries loose together — tabs can catch on each other and be partially lifted, activating the cells.
